Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor in 3.5 to 7 m on sand and mud with good holding. Stay at least 200 m off the cliff. In August 2025 the Alassio coastguard fined boats anchored off the Cappelletta, treating the cliff as a bathing area. Swell is frequent on this coast. In October 2021 north, east and south winds sent it in. In 2022 a boat tucked well in on the marina side, in 3.5 m with a stern anchor, found shelter from southerly swell.
Practical
The harbour is five minutes away by dinghy, and the beach is within reach by oar or paddleboard. In October 2021 a night in the nearby marina was quoted at 46 euros.
