Approach and anchoring

The pontoon lies in a side arm of the Saône between the campsite and the road bridge, the entrance opening to the south. A bridge limits air draught to 3 metres and there is about 1.20 metres depth alongside, so it suits low, shallow-draught boats.

Practical

Simple stopover pontoon on the left bank with water and electricity, about 12 euros a night. Day boats under 10 metres can also lie on the Camping Thoissey jetties, which tend to fill in July and August. Thoissey village and its shops are a short walk. Ponton du pont lies 1.4 NM north, Saint-Romain 1.4 NM to the NW.
