Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south or east, the islet of Isulattu lies just off the point; watch the rocks reaching out from it. A bathing-buoy line and channel laid in early June keep boats off the shallows, so many now anchor in 12 to 20 metres, sand patches under 10 metres filling quickly. Seek sand between the posidonia; the Donia app helps place the anchor. Shelter from S, SW and W. Open to N, NE and E, leave on forecast tramontane. Porto Pollo 4.3 NM N, Propriano 4.7 NM NE.
Practical
No services. Porto Pollo for water, fuel and provisions 4.3 NM N. Propriano marina for full services 4.7 NM NE.
Ashore
Granite coastline with low maquis, Natura 2000 zone Campomoro-Senetosa extending south. Plage de Cupabia about 2 km W by coastal path, sand beach backed by dunes. A tender pontoon gives access to Campomoro village and its Genoese tower, open to visit for a small fee, with a small grocery and restaurants such as Le Ressac. Coastal hiking path continues southward along the protected shore.
