Approach and anchoring
Approach from the open sea to the S. Shallows and rocky heads spread off the shore, keep a careful watch and anchor on a clear sand patch to protect posidonia. Exposed to S and SW winds, which build swell against this shore. Libeccio makes the bay untenable.
Practical
No services. Anchor on sand in 4 to 8 metres. Refuges at Pianottoli-Caldarello 4.9 NM E and Tizzano 6.1 NM NW.
Ashore
Undeveloped shore in the Bouches de Bonifacio Natural Reserve zone. Coastal path leads towards the Roccapina site to the W, with the lion-shaped rock formation visible from sea.
