Approach and anchoring
Open to the west. Part of the waters off Malendure lies in the 981 ha cœur marin of the Parc national, where boats may only stop on the Park's moorings: check its limits on the chart or the Nav&Co app. The organised zone from Pointe Mahault to Pointe de Malendure has 2 white buoys for private boats up to 20 m. Bouillante began laying the moorings of its Malendure zone in July 2026.

Ashore
Malendure beach is the base of the dive clubs working the Îlets Pigeon. Jacques-Yves Cousteau stayed here often from 1959.
