Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east along the Cap Ferrat coast. Bottom is rock and weed, holding often poor, expect several tries to set the anchor. The rock snags anchors and boats have lost gear here, so rig a tripping line. Sheltered from NW through N to W winds, fully open to the south and east, where protection is poor. Swell from passing traffic on the Beaulieu to Monaco run is common.
Practical
No services on site. Port de Silva Maris lies 0.8 nm to the W and Beaulieu-sur-Mer 1.5 nm to the SW if conditions turn.
Ashore
Coastal path around Cap Ferrat starts at Plage de Passable, about 1 km by tender. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its gardens sit on the ridge above the anchorage.
