Guide
Approach and anchoring
Respect the 100 m limit of the restricted zone and keep 150 m off the wreck. At the 100 m line the depth is about 25 m. About 100 to 200 m further NNE there is 20 m on sand. The bottom drops off steeply. The island gives shelter from southerly swell. Overnight only in very calm seas. Day boats crowd the spot, especially at weekends, and most leave at dusk. Disco music from the mainland can run until 5 am.
Practical
In summer 2025 a boat selling drinks and ice cream came round every afternoon.
