Approach and anchoring

Call on VHF 71. Marina boatmen assist berthing. Ferry traffic can send some wash through the marina by day. The fuel berth sits by a large green tower, to starboard on leaving the marina.

Practical

Berths on the aquarium side are noisier than those on the harbour office side. Music played until 02:30 on a Sunday morning in August 2025. From the aquarium pier, toilets and showers were reached with a key through a pontoon gate in 2025. The QR lock on the security gate did not work in August 2025. On the aquarium side, rubbish goes behind the brown gates near the WC. The office can arrange divers and technicians.

Ashore

The marina lies in the old port, beside the aquarium. The narrow streets of the old town begin a short walk away, with restaurants, shops and museums. A tourist train circles the city. Groove Food and Beats serves burgers and craft beer.
