Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor in about 5 m on sand and mud with some weed. Holding is firm. In July 2024 a boat rode out 32 kn from N to NW here. In 2020 a spot 100 m off the breakwater facing Garbasso beach kept a boat out of a southerly swell. Shelter held in a 10 kn easterly in 2022. Chop can build even in light wind.
Practical
Dinghies can land on the beach or at the breakwater. In 2024 a dinghy could also be left in the marina in town. In 2020 a fuel station stood less than 10 minutes away, above the beach, and building sites surrounded the bay.
