Approach and anchoring
Sand bottom in 3 to 9 m with good holding, well sheltered from a westerly mistral, riding out up to 40 knots. Three buoys on the SW edge are kept for dive boats of up to 40 t; anchor clear of them. The cove is small and steep-to with room for only a few boats, so arrive early. Open to the E and SE, where a swell works in, and rolly towards morning after the mistral. Cavalaire harbour entrance lies only 0.4 nm north as a direct fallback. Marines de Cogolin 6.4 nm north by road.
Ashore
Land at the steps on the west side, which climb the cliff to reach the town centre in about 10 minutes, or take the narrow rocky pass to a public path. Cavalaire-sur-Mer village is 500 m away with supermarket, bakeries and restaurants along the seafront. A hotel above the cove keeps its lights on all night. Sentier du littoral starts from Cavalaire and runs west past Pointe du Vergeron.
