Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south, keeping off the rocks that extend a short distance from the point. Sand between the rocky patches, holding good where the sand is clear but poor over the flat rock it covers in places, so check the set. Depths of about 2.5 m near the head of the cove to 5 to 10 m further out. Open to winds from east through south-west, protected from the northern sector. Busy with day boats and their wash, it empties by early evening to a quiet night, though a roll can set in even in calm weather.

Practical

Forain anchorage, no infrastructure. Drop on sand in 5 to 10 m and avoid the posidonia beds which are protected. Cavalaire marina lies 2.4 NM NE, Le Lavandou 5.2 NM west for a full refuge with fuel and water.

Ashore

Small sand beaches line the cove but the shore behind is private, so they are reached only from the sea. Clear water good for swimming and paddleboarding.
