Approach and anchoring

Boats lie between a bow and a stern buoy. A dinghy meets arrivals at the entrance, and the marina boatmen pass the lines and board to help if needed. The bay is sheltered from the north and west. In a 30 kn maestrale in June 2024 the wind eased on entering the bay. In 2024 buoys had to be vacated by 11.30 am.

Practical

14 buoys take deep-draught yachts up to 9 metres. The bay lies within the La Maddalena national park, where anchoring is regulated and buoys protect the seabed. Bookings were refused in summer 2025. Minimum advertised length 15 m in 2025. A 42 ft catamaran paid 150 euros a night in July 2025, a 43 ft one 200 euros in June 2026. Water and up to three rubbish bags taken in 2024. No toilets or showers in May 2025. Night watchman on duty in 2025.

Ashore

The beach is about 100 m away by dinghy, with a dock for landing from the tender. The Oasis bar stands on the beach, reached by a road. A beach bar played loud music in September 2024. Mirto restaurant, serving suckling pig, is 1.3 km away on foot.
