Gulf of Morbihan: anchorages and stopovers
13 places · Morbihan
An inland sea of 40 islands ruled by the tide: up to 9 knots in the Port-Navalo narrows, the strongest streams in Europe. Enter on the flood, leave on the ebb. Inside, Île aux Moines, Arz, the Logoden islets and the Auray river up to Saint-Goustan; Vannes is reached through a lock at the end of a channel. Anchor clear of the mooring fields and oyster beds, which fill half the coves.
