Marina of 330 berths on the north shore of the Gulf of Morbihan, between Vannes and the Ile aux Moines ferry landing.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach through the Gulf of Morbihan from the Port-Navalo entrance, watching for strong tidal streams that can exceed 5 knots on springs between the islands. Final approach to Arradon from the south, following the local buoyage. Maximum draught of 2.4 metres at the pontoons. VHF 9.
Practical
330 berths with water and electricity. Visitors lie mainly on buoys, with only a few catway berths, so check the boat draught; the seasonal visitor pontoon, in place from April to October, keeps boats afloat through midsummer. Fuel, a small boatyard with crane, and a sailing school on site. The sanitary block is small, two toilets and two showers with a washing machine, and set back from the visitor pontoon. Free bikes from the office reach the village centre in a 20 minute walk and the supermarket in about 30 minutes.
Ashore
Coastal path from the port to the Pointe d'Arradon viewpoint in about 1 km, one of the classic views over the inner Gulf. Ferry to Ile aux Moines leaves from Port-Blanc, 1.3 nautical miles to the south-west. Vannes old town is 10 km by road.
