Guide

Approach and anchoring

Reached from Freeport Bay through Jones Inlet and the marked channels. The bays inside the inlet are shallow in places, so time the approach with the tide for deeper-draught boats.

Practical

160 berths in total, including 20 transient berths, on floating pontoons taking boats up to 60 feet. Approach depth is about 10 feet and dockside depth about 6 feet. There is 30 and 50 amp shore power, mains water, cable, WiFi and heads.

Ashore

The Nautical Mile along the Woodcleft Canal lies a short distance away, with seafood restaurants, three fish markets and charter fishing boats running daily trips for fluke, sea bass and striped bass.
