Approach and anchoring

Reached from Freeport Bay through Jones Inlet, then up the marked channels to the Woodcleft Canal. The bays inside the inlet are shallow in places, so time the approach with the tide for deeper-draught boats and keep to the buoyed channel.

Practical

Primarily a repair and service yard handling inboard and diesel engines, fuel tanks, fibreglass and welding work, with berths along the canal. The Nautical Mile shops and chandlers lie within walking distance.
