Approach and anchoring
Enter Raccoon Creek from the Neuse River, opposite the Oriental harbour entrance. The dock is a finger pontoon T-ing off the bulkhead, with room for one boat on each side.
Practical
Free berthing limited to 48 hours within any 30-day period. No shore power, no water, generators prohibited. Free self pump-out and Wi-Fi at the dock. Public restrooms ashore.
Ashore
Village of Oriental laid out around the harbour, restaurants and the M&M Cafe within 200 m. The Bean coffee house and the Oriental Boat Show grounds are along the waterfront. Grocery store at 600 m on Broad Street.
