Approach and anchoring

From Lake Huron enter the Cheboygan River and follow the marked channel south. The pontoons sit on the right bank in town, downstream of the Cheboygan Lock. River draught generally allows boats under 2 metres without issue.

Practical

Seasonal slip rentals, no fuel berth on site. Fuel and full services available at Cheboygan County Marina 0.1 NM upstream and at Walstrom Marine 0.2 NM downstream.

Ashore

Downtown Cheboygan a few minutes on foot, with supermarket, hardware store and restaurants. Cheboygan Lock 600 m upstream, working entrance to the Inland Waterway run by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
