Approach and anchoring
From Lake Huron pick up the marked channel into the Cheboygan River. Approach depth around 7 metres, dockside 3.6 metres. Floating pontoons. The Cheboygan Lock lies upstream and connects 70 km of inland lakes and rivers. Reservations through the Michigan DNR.
Practical
84 berths including 38 transient. ValvTect diesel and petrol on the fuel berth. Water, 20, 30 and 50 amp shore power, WiFi, pump-out, heads, showers and laundry. Cards and cash accepted.
Ashore
Downtown Cheboygan within walking distance for supermarkets, chandlery and restaurants. Cheboygan Opera House at 600 m. Gateway to the Inland Waterway running 70 km to Conway via the lock and Mullett Lake.
