Guide
Approach and anchoring
Lying in Florida Bay behind the half ring of mangrove islands that screens Little Basin, the spot is partly shielded from NE through SE. The bottom is weed, so back down on the anchor before trusting the holding. Depths are shallow and the tidal range is only about 1.5 feet.
Practical
World Wide Sportsman Bayside Marina lies 0.3 nm SE, with a Bass Pro Shops store and the Islamorada Fish Company restaurant on site. Coral Bay Marina is 0.5 nm east. Fresh water is available ashore.
