Approach and anchoring
On the Atlantic side of Snake Creek, the deep-water cut that links the ocean and Florida Bay under the Snake Creek drawbridge. This is the only navigable channel through the Upper Keys in this stretch, so the bridge governs passage between the two waters.
Practical
About 20 in-water berths, a fuel berth with two non-ethanol Rec-90 petrol pumps, and a pump-out station. On-demand launch and haul-out run 0900 to 1700. Heads and showers, fish-cleaning station, and a gated site with security. Hog Heaven Sports Bar is on the property. Now operating under SD Marine Group as part of the Islamorada Yacht Club.
