Approach and anchoring
Open to swell from S to W. Approach by day to identify rocky patches on the bottom and drop on clear sand. The coast here is low and rocky with few transit marks.
Practical
No facilities at the anchorage. Tizzano 0.4 NM SE offers a small fishing harbour with limited visitor space. Port de Propriano 8.3 NM N for full marina services, fuel and provisions.
Ashore
Sentier des Douaniers runs along the coast south from Tizzano past the Cala di l'Avena beach. The area lies within the Natura 2000 site Plateau de Pertusato-Bonifacio et îles Lavezzi zone of influence along the granite southern coast.
