Approach and anchoring
Town Creek lies just east of the Gallants Channel 65 ft fixed bridge on Highway 70, reached from Beaufort Inlet or the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The hardwood floating docks carry a minimum of 8 ft at low water with 12 ft on the approaches.
Practical
71 berths including 25 transient, with 30, 50 and 100 amp shore power, in-slip fuelling of ValvTect diesel and ethanol-free petrol, softened water and Wi-Fi. Boat lift berths on the east side take vessels up to 12 metres and 24,000 lb. Heads, showers, laundry and a courtesy car. City Kitchen restaurant and waterside bar on site.
Ashore
Downtown Beaufort and Front Street are about 2 km away by road. The marina hosts weigh-ins for the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament held offshore each June.
