Approach and anchoring
Directly off the ICW just north of the US-70 high-rise bridge between Morehead City and Beaufort, a short run from the Beaufort Inlet. Watch the inlet currents and shoaling on the approach.
Practical
About 30 of the 75 berths are kept for transients. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, laundry, showers, heads, WiFi and a courtesy car. Open daily 0830 to 1830. Harbour master on 252 726-6862.
Ashore
The Morehead City waterfront, with restaurants overlooking Bogue Sound, is a short walk away. Beaufort and the North Carolina Maritime Museum lie across the water.
