Anchorage on the Tolomato River along the Intracoastal Waterway north of St. Augustine, in Florida.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor on mud just off the ICW channel. Shoals between the anchorage and the channel cut the wake from passing traffic. Holding is good but tidal currents run strong, so lay plenty of scope. Wooded banks give protection through most points of the compass.
Practical
Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor lies 8.6 nm to the S, a full-service marina with about 218 berths and a boatyard. Hidden Harbor Marina St. Augustine is 10 nm to the S. Provisions are at St. Augustine.
