Approach and anchoring
Open water on the bay side, exposed to winds from the south-west. Depths are shoal across much of the cove, so a shallow-draught approach and a lead line are advisable. Holding is on sand.
Practical
Molasses Reef Marina lies 1 nm south-east and Key Largo Resorts Marina 1.1 nm east. Both give access to fuel, water and provisions along the Overseas Highway.
