Approach via the Légué buoyed channel in the bay of Saint-Brieuc. Mud bottom, holding generally good. Four-sector protection from NW to NE and W. Exposed to E and SE. The Légué lock basin is 0.8 nm W as refuge, Binic 5.7 nm NW. Strong tidal range typical of the bay of Saint-Brieuc, one of the largest in France.
