Approach and anchoring

Approach from the Golfe de Fos into the Chenal de Caronte. Heavy commercial traffic between Fos-sur-Mer oil terminals and Lavéra refineries, keep clear of the fairway. Maximum draught 3 m at the pontoons. Entrance lit by the Fort de Bouc lighthouse at the canal mouth.

Practical

Small club berths reserved mainly for members. Fuel, water and power available at the adjacent Port de Bouc plaisance 0.4 NM north. Chantier Naval de Provence boatyard 0.6 NM NE for haul-out and repair.
