Approach and anchoring
Sigsbee Park is a man-made island built from the dredging of the Trumbo Point seaplane base in the 1940s. The marina lies inside the protected waters of Garrison Bight, off the Fleming Key channel.
Practical
Ship store with fuel, bait, ice and tackle. Gear hire includes kayaks, paddleboards, snorkelling fins and fishing tackle, and the marina rents a 21 ft centre console fishing boat. The Sigsbee RV park and MWR facilities adjoin the marina.
Ashore
Sigsbee Park holds Navy family housing, the exchange, commissary and RV park. Downtown Key West lies roughly 4 km south across the Garrison Bight causeway.
