Guide
Approach and anchoring
The anchorage lies at the mouth of Key West Bight, with sand holding and shelter only from the west. It is open to wind and swell from other quarters and busy with marina, fishing and tour traffic, so anchor clear of the fairway.
Practical
Fresh water is available. Conch Harbor Marina and the Key West Bight basin lie 0.1 nm to the south, with fuel, pump-out, showers, laundry and a ship's store at the marina at 951 Caroline Street.
Ashore
Conch Harbor Marina is a short walk from Duval Street in Old Town Key West. The Historic Seaport boardwalk runs along Key West Bight with restaurants, bars and the schooner docks.
