Municipal marina in Garrison Bight, on the north side of Key West, with berths straddling the Palm Avenue causeway and a managed mooring field offshore.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter Garrison Bight between Fleming Key and Sigsbee Park. The Palm Avenue causeway carries a fixed bridge of about 17 ft clearance to reach the inner basin. Hail the dockmaster on VHF 16 before tying up.
Practical
Around 245 slips for liveaboard, recreational and transient boats, plus a 149-ball mooring field. Approach and dockside depths run roughly 7 and 6 ft. Reservations are not taken for moorings; about 90 balls are kept for transients and a permit form must be completed.
Ashore
The marina is home to Key West Historic Charter Boat Row. Downtown Key West and Duval Street lie about 2 km south. Provisioning is available along North Roosevelt Boulevard nearby.
