Approach and anchoring
Entered from Chesapeake Bay through the Salt Ponds inlet. VHF channel 16 for the initial call. The inlet is subject to shoaling, so check the latest depth before entering at low water.
Practical
254 floating berths with full-length finger pontoons, taking vessels up to 110 ft, including catamaran and trimaran berths. Floating fuel berth with mid-grade petrol and diesel, ship store, three bath houses and two laundries. Pump-out on site.
Ashore
A swimming pool with lap lanes and a sandy beach sit within the resort grounds. The marina runs an official fish weigh station with a digital scale and two self-service fish-cleaning stations.
