Approach and anchoring

Set on the southern shore of Back River, a short run from the open bay. Floating pontoons with about 7 feet of water at the approach and dockside. Largest vessel handled is 50 feet.

Practical

Around 75 slips, 10 of them transient, with 30 and 50 amp shore power, fresh water and free WiFi. Dry storage, boat maintenance and a do-it-yourself service yard on site. The marina holds Virginia Clean Marina status. Address 2 Bells Island Drive, office on 757 850-0466.
