Approach and anchoring

Common entrance to Channel Islands Harbor between two jetties, protected by a 700 m offshore breakwater. Harbor Patrol on VHF 12 and 16. Base shared with Vintage Marina at 3150 S. Harbor Boulevard.

Practical

ASA 101, 103, 104, 105 and 106 courses delivered on a Catalina 36 day-sailer and a Jeanneau cruising yacht. Bareboat and skippered charters from a few hours up to 5 days. Captained day trip to Anacapa Island from 1250 USD on weekdays.

Ashore

Channel Islands National Park visitor centre at Ventura Harbor, around 6 nm to the north. Anacapa Island, the closest of the five park islands, lies around 12 nm south-west and is a usual destination for ASA 104 cruises.
