Approach and anchoring
Harbour entrance from the SE between two jetties protected by a 700 m offshore breakwater. Inside channel marked by flashing green 3 and flashing red 2 with horn. Speed limit 5 mph inside the harbour. Caution: rapid shoaling SE of the entrance, particularly at night. Ventura County Harbor Patrol on VHF 12 and 16.
Practical
Member berthing and reciprocal moorage for visiting yacht clubs only. Clubhouse with dining room and bar overlooking the harbour. Phone +1 805 985 2492.
History
Founded in 1960, the club has run sailboat racing, cruising and fishing programmes in the Santa Barbara Channel for over six decades.
