Approach and anchoring
Common approach via the Channel Islands Harbor entrance off Oxnard, between two jetties protected by a 700 m offshore breakwater. Harbor Patrol monitors VHF 12 and 16, 24 hours. Clubhouse at 2810 S. Harbor Boulevard, slip B6.
Practical
No public visitor berth, racing and cruising programmes reserved for members and reciprocal yacht clubs. Bar open Friday evenings and selected Saturdays from 17:00. Annual dues around 450 USD, junior membership up to 35 years at 225 USD.
History
Chartered by the Southern California Yachting Association on 25 November 1967 as a non-profit. The club runs the Anacapa Island Race series and the Wet Wednesday twilight series from March to October.
