Approach and anchoring

Approach from the Santa Barbara Channel. Channel Islands Harbour entrance is sheltered by a 700 m offshore breakwater 600 m out in 9 m of water. Enter NE between the jetties, then turn N past flashing green 3 and flashing red 2 with horn. Shoaling reported SE of the entrance, give the jetty heads 15 m clearance. Once inside, the marina lies at the southern tip of the central peninsula, accessible from either channel.

Practical

Wet berths, end-ties and side-ties for boats from 7 to 27 metres. Visitor rate 1 USD per foot per night with a 30 USD minimum. Clubhouse with showers, heads, pool, gym. Haul-out, dry storage and full yard services through sister facility Seaside Boatyard in the same harbour. Office at 3700 Peninsula Road, phone 805 985 6400.

Marine Emporium Landing shops and restaurants 600 m N on Peninsula Road. Hollywood Beach within walking distance across Peninsula Road, around 400 m W. Channel Islands National Park visitor centre and ferry to Anacapa and Santa Cruz Islands 2 km NW.
