Guide

Approach and anchoring

On the western shore of Aquidneck Island, off the East Passage at Lagoon Road. Call ahead for berthing and the fuel berth. The yard works on yachts of all sizes.

Practical

Dockage, fuel, pump-out and a full repair service: rigging, joinerwork, paintwork, metalwork, fibreglass, mechanical and electrical work. Three travel lifts up to 88 tons, plus wet and dry storage.

History

Founded in Bristol in 1988 by boatbuilder Joe Loughborough and moved to Portsmouth in 1999. The yard has built round-the-world racers and America's Cup contenders.
