Approach and anchoring
Approach up the marked Connecticut River channel from the river mouth. VHF channel 9. Mercury-certified technicians handle outboard and sterndrive service.
Practical
About 130 berths, 10 of them for visitors, for boats up to 65 feet, with 30 and 50 amp shore power and fresh water. Fuel berth, pump-out, ice, ship's store, showers and laundry on site, plus a pool and a children's playscape. Daily rate around 3.50 dollars per foot.
Ashore
A shuttle runs to Old Saybrook town for provisions and shops.
