Approach and anchoring
From the river mouth, run up the buoyed channel past Saybrook Point to North Cove. The club operates two moorings in the river. Moorings inside the cove are regulated by the Old Saybrook Harbor Commission and there is no anchoring within North Cove.
Practical
North Cove is a federal harbour of refuge. Any mooring with a yellow streamer is free for up to 72 hours or until the owner returns, and three town moorings off the town dock are available to visitors. The club offers transient services for a fee, with a seasonal launch to the club or town dock and use of showers and heads. Hail the club steward on VHF 78A.
