Members' yacht club on the west bank of the Connecticut River at Essex, a short run upriver from Long Island Sound.

Approach and anchoring
Approach up the marked Connecticut River channel from the river mouth. Approach and dockside depths are near 12 and 9 feet.
Practical
Around 43 berths plus visitor moorings reached by a club launch. Fuel berth, pump-out, showers, a ship's store and a galley serving lunch. The largest vessels handled run to about 100 feet.
Ashore
Essex village centre is within walking distance, with the Connecticut River Museum on the waterfront covering local maritime history.
History
The club was founded in 1933. It runs two races on the river each year, the Wetherill and the Rum Challenge.
