Entered from the Manatee River, which leads west to Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The 360-degree basin is one of the largest storm-protected harbours on Florida's Gulf coast, with a named-storm dockage reservation scheme. VHF 16.
Practical
Floating berths for vessels of most sizes, a fuel dock and a pump-out station. Dockside bar and restaurant, fitness rooms and pools within the surrounding residential community.
Ashore
Walking paths run through the Riviera Dunes development. Downtown Palmetto and its waterfront park lie roughly 1.5 km west for shops and dining.
