Approach and anchoring
Enter Terra Ceia Bay from Tampa Bay through the marked channel north of the Sunshine Skyway. Bay depths are shallow in places, so favour the marked route.
Practical
Fuel, fresh water, showers and wireless internet. Clubhouse on site. Sailing tours, fishing charters and sunset cruises run from the docks.
Ashore
Dolphin sightings are common in Terra Ceia Bay. Terra Ceia Preserve State Park, with hiking trails through mangrove and salt marsh, lies on the bay's eastern shore.
