Approach and anchoring
Two linear floating piers on the York River, with about 16 transient mooring spaces and 1,200 feet of dockage. Dockside depths run from 27 to 50 feet. Mooring balls are also available. Reservations year-round through the dockmaster, 757 890-3370.
Practical
Pier-side electricity, water and sewer pump-out. A private shower and restroom is reserved for guests arriving by water. Shops and restaurants of Riverwalk Landing are along the quay.
History
Yorktown was the site of the 1781 siege that ended the American War of Independence. The Yorktown Battlefield and Colonial National Historical Park sit immediately above the waterfront.
