Approach and anchoring
Reached from the York River through Back Creek, which lies behind Goodwin Island. The creek gives onward access to Mobjack Bay, Back River and the southern Chesapeake Bay.
Practical
Around 70 berths with water and shore power, plus a boat ramp. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel. There is a ship's store with fishing tackle, boat hire, a repair service, a pool and a picnic area with grills.
History
The marina was started in 1977 by the Mills family, who had long fished and boated on the York River.
