Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the bay with no tidal restriction. Holding is mixed: mud takes the anchor well, rock patches less so, so set the hook carefully and check it has bitten. The anchorage gives shelter from NW through S; winds from the eastern quadrant blow straight in. Bristol Yacht Club lies 2.6 miles to the east.

Practical

No facilities at the anchorage. Bristol Yacht Club to the east and Harbor Lights Marina 2.6 miles to the NW are the nearest points for fuel, water and provisions.
