Approach and anchoring
On the Shinnecock Canal, which links Great Peconic Bay to the north with Shinnecock Bay and the Atlantic to the south. A tide lock at the northern end regulates the flow; expect a strong current through the canal.

Seasonal and transient berths with shore power, fresh water, showers and toilets. Fuelling dock with petrol, plus bait and ice. Three boat lifts rated to 75 tons, with capacity to store over 125 boats ashore for the winter.
