Approach and anchoring
Sits on the narrow barrier spit just inside Shinnecock Inlet. The inlet gives the most direct ocean access of the local harbours, but its channel shifts, so use up-to-date local knowledge before transiting.
Practical
About 72 berths take boats up to 60 feet, with a fuel berth supplying petrol and diesel, water, heads and showers. There is an ice and tackle shop and a travel lift on site. The restaurant has a back deck over the marina with live music at weekends in season.
