Approach from the Goulet de Brest, then head south towards the northern shore of the Crozon peninsula. Sand and mud give good holding. Sheltered from SW, W and NW; exposed to the east across the Rade. Watch the strong tidal streams in the Goulet, up to 5 knots on springs.
Practical
Open anchorage with no services. Camaret marinas 3.2 to 3.4 nm SW for fuel, water, repairs and provisioning.
