Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north via the chenal de Bloscon, then east of the Ricard beacon. Rocks dry all around at low water on springs; keep to sounded lines and drop the hook where the chart shows sand. Bottom of sand with weed patches. Shelter from north-west through west to south-east, open to the north and north-east.
Practical
No services on the islet. Moll 1.2 nm to the west and marina of Roscoff-Bloscon 1.2 nm to the south-east for fuel, water and berths.
Ashore
Carantec town is a short hop to the south-west with shops, bakeries and the Musee maritime de Carantec in a former sardine cannery. Callot island linked by a tidal causeway lies 1.5 nm to the west, accessible at low water.
